Privacy policy
This independent player workshop is operated by Raymond Resurreccion in his personal capacity. Connect2U is the website name, not a separate registered company. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@connect2u.xyz.
Information used by the workshop
- Sign-in information: Google or Facebook supplies an account identifier and email address. Basic identity responses can also include a name or profile image; Facebook's profile request includes your name. The workshop keeps your provider, account identifier and email in its signed session cookie. Your private workspace is keyed to a hash of the provider and account identifier.
- Game information: the hero records, equipment, inventory, configurations, team plans, recommendations and related material you provide, plus a history of changes made in the workshop.
- Support information: messages and information you choose to send when requesting help, access, correction or deletion.
- Technical information: hosting and network providers may process IP addresses, request details, browser information, timestamps and error logs to deliver and protect the service.
Google and Facebook sign-in
We never receive your Google or Facebook password. Google sign-in requests only OpenID, email and basic profile access. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts or Calendar. Facebook sign-in requests basic public profile and email information, not posts, friends, photos or messages.
Sign-in information identifies your account and keeps your workspace separate from other accounts. Google and Facebook identities remain separate even if they have the same email address; the app does not automatically link them.
How information is used and shared
Information is used to authenticate you, save and display your game workspace, process your edits, provide support and diagnose or prevent misuse. The current workshop does not offer a public email directory or user-to-user email lookup. If exact-match email lookup is introduced, it will require an explicit privacy setting before your account becomes discoverable by email.
The application has no advertising-tracking or data-sale features. Service providers process information needed to run it: Vercel provides application hosting, Neon provides database storage, and Google or Meta provides the sign-in service you select. Email providers process support correspondence. Externally hosted images may cause your browser to contact their hosts and disclose ordinary request information. Each provider also has its own privacy practices.
The operator can access information as needed to administer the workshop, resolve support requests and fulfill deletion requests. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to investigate abuse or protect the service.
Cookies and retention
An essential secure session cookie maintains sign-in and protects save operations. Sessions expire after eight hours; signing out clears the browser's current session. Removing provider access or signing out does not by itself delete saved game data.
Saved workspace information remains available until it is deleted. You can request deletion at any time. Deletion from active storage does not instantly erase backup copies or every provider-held operational log. When handling a request, we will explain any information that must remain for security, legal or backup purposes, and any applicable retention limits.
Your choices and requests
You can edit supported game records in the workshop, stop using the service, revoke the provider connection in your Google or Facebook account, or request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@connect2u.xyz. We may need to verify ownership before releasing or deleting information. We will never ask for your password or sign-in codes. See the data-deletion instructions.
If you believe a child has supplied personal information to the workshop, contact the same address so we can investigate and address the request.
Changes and contact
Updates to this policy will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes to how account information is used will be explained before the affected feature is enabled. Contact: Raymond Resurreccion, hello@connect2u.xyz.
